Commodity Exports: Witasco
Kortina has a stake in a joint venture company, Witasco, which is involved in the trading of coal and other commodities. Witasco works closely with Russian and Kazakh coal producers, transportation companies and overseas purchasers of coal. The JV has close contacts in major Russian freight companies and can use these contacts to develop logistical solutions in difficult circumstances.

Import Operations
Kortina Advisory has an import division, which commenced operations with the import into Russia of automobile accessories. One of the first products brought to the Russian market was Miracle DryWash, a revolutionary process for cleaning cars without water. The process is well-established in many western countries and has won awards for water-saving and environmental friendliness. Kortina Advisory is pleased to have secured the rights to be the exclusive agents for Miracle DryWash in the Russian Federation and CIS (see www.mdwash.ru).

The company’s import operations are now expanding in to the area of importing consumer goods into Russia, particular in the field of food and beverages.
